I googled to try to find the Alston home for sale in Tuscaloosa since I’d lost track of it in the email thread. Didn’t find it, but I came across this article about a terrible tragedy on Sam Alston’s yacht in 1919. A little more clue to what happened back then. I’m sure Bob Jones knows all about it. I believe Bob said Sam died in 1922, so 3 years later.
